Unser neues Landhaus

We have been in our country home for six months now and have accomplished a lot but still have a lot ahead of us. -
So far the kitchen is done with everything brand new - we have white cabinets - black handles and dark oak shelves above the stove - sink and another cabinet with shelves above by the kitchen window. - The windows were costing too much so Mike decided to install them himself - so far only one ( the kitchen window has been installed ). We also replaced the horrific chandeliers in the bathroom and kitchen with some more modern track lighting and the mirror in the main bathroom is more up to date also. I planted 35 lavender plants in my front yard ( that I can see from of my kitchen window )with the help of two willing young women and a few herbs. My husband Mike fixed the hot tub and we can now sit in it and see four mountains from it. Right now we are in the middle of redoing the basement by painting it and putting new flooring and windows/doors in. - We have had a few guests since we moved here - so far : son Marcus with wife Oksana and mother-in-law Vera from Russia - two Russian/American couples - Barbara and Jennifer from Boring, Oregon - son Christopher and friend Heidi - son Benjamin with wife Carina and son/grandson Samuel - and my friends Grace Ann, Mary Ann, Karen and Cassandra. Also a few of the neighbors stopped by. We have had a mild winter so far and are hoping for the spring to arrive so we can start the gardening.
